Turning Tides provides a suite of services that help communities and partners move from strategy to practice.
Each service area is designed to strengthen the foundations of resilience while creating pathways for innovation and investment.

Project Development

We convene and support codesign of pilot projects that demonstrate regenerative and resilient systems in action. Our team supports engagement, concept landing , partner coordination, funding design, and ensuring projects are scaleable, technically sound and socially grounded. Examples include community-led development, community-based renewable-energy pilots, climate-ready farms, and circular-economy initiatives.

Resource Development

Turning Tides helps partners access and manage the resources needed to scale their impact. Supporting organizations to build the skills and systems they need to mobilize resources and lead their own fundraising. We provide grant development, proposal writing, funder relations, and partnership-brokering support. Our experience spans crowd funding, government, foundation, and international funding systems, enabling us to connect community innovation with institutional investment.

Leadership Development

We design and deliver leadership and learning programs that build capacity for regenerative transitions. Through mentorship, peer learning, and partnerships with post-secondary institutions, we support youth, Indigenous, municipal, and civil-society leaders to strengthen collaboration and readiness across sectors. “We work with groups to support them to do what they do better”

Policy and Systems Support

We help translate demonstration projects into policy frameworks that guide replication and scaling. Our work bridges research and practice to inform evidence-based decision-making, integrating local knowledge and community priorities into regional, national, and global policy arenas.
